I am probably the only one on the whole block that's got jack o'lanterns- certainly the only one at the embassy. I've yet to see a typical Halloween pumpkin here, but I managed to find both flesh-colored and grayish-green gourds, which worked nicely and are perhaps a bit more freaky in the end. No costumes or candy tonight, but I had a fish and tartar sauce crepe in honor of the holiday. A new tradition perhaps?
